Start with an ordinary day.

For a few weeks in Douala, the right apartment should fit your routines. Think about mornings before going out, meals at home, time spent working and the end of the day. These everyday uses make one layout more suitable than another.

Every Regina Home apartment has its own Wi-Fi. If your stay depends on video calls or particular work requirements, explain them to reception: having Wi-Fi does not by itself establish the speed or working conditions you need.

The pool, gym, football, basketball and tennis courts, and parking are included with apartment rental for residents. Explore the spaces in photographs to see how they might fit into your day.

Choose a layout, then describe your habits.

One bedroom accommodates up to two guests, two bedrooms up to four, and three bedrooms up to six. For a longer stay, bedroom count can also reflect your need for privacy. Two people wanting a bedroom each can request two bedrooms; maximum capacity is not a requirement to fill the apartment.

Two-bedroom layouts may have an open-plan or separate kitchen. If you cook often, mention your preference and any equipment you need. Photographs of Harare and Maseru show real examples, not a guaranteed layout for every two-bedroom apartment.

Also explain your housekeeping or access requirements. Frequency and arrangements must be confirmed with reception. Do not build your routine around an assumed service before receiving that confirmation.

Match your dates to your actual arrival.

Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is at 12:00. If your transport arrives early or leaves late, share the expected time. Early check-in, late arrival or extended check-out must be discussed; transport times do not automatically change the stay arrangements.

For an assignment with an uncertain end date, distinguish confirmed dates from a possible extension. Ask how an extension would be handled and do not assume the same apartment will remain available beyond the agreed period.

Ask for a complete proposal.

Your enquiry concerns a bedroom count, a party and dates. Reception proposes an apartment based on availability. Ask for the proposed apartment’s characteristics, the period covered, the total and the agreed services to be set out together.

A stay reservation requires at least 50% in advance, or you can pay in full. Cancellation must be notified at least 48 hours ahead; that alone does not establish refund or rescheduling terms. Have those confirmed and keep the written confirmation.

“We are planning a three-week stay for two people and would like two bedrooms. Our dates are […]. We will cook at home and need to work remotely. Could you propose an apartment and confirm the total and the stay arrangements?”

Compare a stay total, not just a daily figure.

Prices are negotiable from 11 nights. That threshold opens a discussion about your stay; it does not define an automatic discount percentage. For a stay between a few weeks and a month, ask for a proposal based on your exact dates.

Monthly rate guidance by category
CategoryMonthly rate
1 bedroom1,800,000 FCFA
2 bedrooms2,200,000–3,000,000 FCFA
3 bedrooms3,500,000 FCFA

These monthly figures are guidance by category and apartment. Do not automatically divide them by 30 to infer a nightly rate: reception confirms the billing basis and total that apply to your period.
